IIT Bombay Summer Internship 2024 Computer Science and Engineering: Indian Institute of Technology Bombay is a public engineering institution located in Powai, Mumbai. Very recently the Institution released a notification for Summer Internship 2024 under the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. IIT Bombay Summer Internship 2024
Students will be selected based on academic performance in their school/school/college, and on their technical accomplishments. The reputation of the college and the exhibition of past students of that university/college in our IIT Bombay Summer Internship program may also be considered. Shortlisted candidates have to take an examination online programming test in C.
On the basis of the academic scrutiny, a list of provisionally selected candidates is published. These selected students list published after the online programming test. The shortlisted candidates required to submit following scanned copies before last date.
Indian Institute of Technology Bombay Summer Internship 2024
Education Qualification:
- Candidates who complete the B.Tech./B.E. 3rd year in April/May.
- Students finishing the second year, with exceptional academic performance and other accomplishments may also be considered.
Age Limit:
- Must attain a minimum and maximum age limit as stated in the official Advt.
- Relaxation of age limit will consider as per rules/ regulations.
Application Fee:
There is no application/examination fee required to submit an application form.
Financial Support:
IIT Bombay will not be extending any budgetary help aside from paying your enrolment fees (Rs. 10,000/ – ). You should oversee the expenses for your stay in IIT on your own.
Rs. 6000 for the internship period and Rs. 2000 security deposit (will return to you on confirmation of the vacation of the room & assuring the damage/loss).
Rs. 150/ – every day for nourishment (breakfast, lunch, supper) in the vacation mess.
Students may mastermind their own bedding or pay bedding charges directly to the hostel.
Selection Process:
Students who registered for IIT Bombay Summer Internship 2024 will shortlist on the basis of academic scrutiny. The list of provisionally selected students required to attend an online programming test, and within a week the final list will be prepared.
How to Apply IIT Bombay Summer Internship 2024
Students who satisfy the eligibility criteria as provided in Advt may apply online in the prescribed format on or before last date (Sunday). No separate application through letter or email will be accepted.

- Reporting for the internship (Tentatively on): May 2024 (for 7 weeks)
- Internship begins: Monday, May 2024
- Submission of report: One week before the end of the internship
- Evaluation: Last week of internship
- Issuance of certificates: Tuesday, July 2024(Tentative)
